Q: How does the machine work?
A: Select - Swipe - Return
Select the Buy/Rent button. Browse through the movies. Select the title you want to rent. Note the slot number listed on the right side of the DVD slot. Enter the slot number. Select Buy or Rent. Swipe your credit card and take your movie. To return a DVD, push Return and place the DVD in the return slot.

Q: How much does the rental cost?
A: $1.49 for the first night and only a $1.00 for each additional night.

Q: How much does it cost to purchase a movie?
A: When a movie first comes out on DVD, the cost to purchase the movie is normally $25. The price will decrease in the coming weeks and can get as low as $6 a movie. Select the buy option on the machine to see the price.

Q: When are the movies updated?
A: The new releases are usually updated weekly and available every Tuesday, which is the national release date.

Q: How do I pay for renting a movie?
A: The machine accumulates charges per night, per DVD, plus tax. Your credit or debit card is charged when you return the movie.

Q: How many movies can I have out at the same time?
A: You can rent up to 3 DVD's at the same time on one credit card.

Q: What is the deadline for returns?
A: You have up to 10 days to return your movie. If you do not return the movie, the credit card that you rented the movie with will be automatically charged the listed selling price of the DVD.

Q: What happens if I lose the movie?
A: If you lose the movie, please contact us a premierdvd@rochester.rr.com. You will be charged the listed selling price for the DVD.

Q: What do I do if the DVD I rented is scratched or does not work?
A: Please contact us a premierdvd@rochester.rr.com. You will not be charged for the movie. Tip: DVD's can stop working if there is dirt or grease on the playing surface. Most often, you can wipe the dirt or grease from the DVD and it will work again.

Q: What if the machine will not take the movie back?
A: Look at the message on the screen for different options. If none of the options work, please return the movie to the customer service desk.

Q: What if I chose the wrong movie?
A: You have a 10 minute grace period to review the movie you selected. If you return the movie within 10 minutes you will not be charged.

Q: Is my credit card information safe?
A: We use the most secure method available for transactions. Your credit card information is not stored on our machines.

Q: Does the kiosk issue receipts?
A: The kiosk does not issue receipts, but you can download a receipt from our website, www.premierdvd.net.
